CMD Group 

 

In late summer 2014, Reed Construction Data announced that its parent, Reed Business Information (part of Reed Elsevier), had sold 51% of the business to Warburg Pincus, and thus, not quite two years since the previous highly successful rebranding, needed to be rebranded again.

 

Given the relatively recent changes to its brand I recommended that as much continuity as possible was kept, with the visual identity being remodelled to accommodate the new name CMD (a shortening of a name it had previously traded under – Construction Market Data). I wrote and designed an updated values brochure for employees  – reiterating that some things had not changed – while also setting in place fresh expectations for the future…
